I don't watch anime much so I thought I'd make a thread for those who play games.

I'll start with the bunch of games I'm playing at once, but updates will probably be just 1 or 2 games.

---

Currently playing:

Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - 10/10
A masterpiece. Ineffable.

Nioh (PS4) - 9.5/10
This game is like Dark Souls but harder and more technical. It's also more mission based than Dark Souls, with a large teleport map with multiple separate locations instead of one gigantic map that connects every location.

Dying Light (PS4) - 6.5/10
I suck at 3D games, especially FPS games, but this one kinda rocks. The story and dialogues leaves me indifferent, but the parkour mechanic is a lot of fun. I bought this for 20$ in a pawn shop a few days before Zelda got out so it kind of interrupted me playing Dying Light and Nioh.

---

I recently also have been replaying:

Final Fantasy 3 (SNES) - 9/10
Super Mario RPG (SNES) - 8/10

---

Games I'm playing with my friend:

Street Fighter Alpha 3 (PS2) - 10/10
We love that game a lot and we've been playing it for a long time. We do a lot of A-ISM Ken (me) VS A-ISM Ryu (him), though we sometimes try other characters and ISMs when we get bored. I've become very good at combos and juggle combos, but to be fair juggles are much easier to do in this game. Very intense game.

Street Fighter 5 (PS4) - 8/10
Unlike me, my friend doesn't like it very much, but we end up playing anyway. I main Chun and he mains Ryu. I actually started by maining Cammy, then switched to Ryu, then Ken, and then Chun. I'm Super Bronze (online), but I rarely play online since my net isn't that good. I completed Survival mode on Hard with Ken and I've been up to stage 98/100 in Hell mode. *salt*

Ultra Street Fighter 4 (PS3) - 9/10
Pretty much the same thing as Alpha 3, we've been playing it since SSF4. He mains Ryu and I main Poison, though I used to play only Cammy back in the AE 2012 days. I even got up to rank B or B+ because Cammy was so broken then, but they patched it and I fell back at C.

Capcom VS SNK 2 (PS2) - 10/10
The best fighting game ever. Enough said.
We pretty much always do 3 vs 3 matches with various characters.

Tetris & Dr Mario (SNES) - 7/10
I don't know WHY he insists so much that we play this. I just keep pulverizing him mercilessly. And what saddens me even more is that he only wants to play Tetris, and not Dr Mario, or the Mixed Match mode.

...........How does one play 10 games at once? Two was always my absolute limit and that didn't always work out well either. Honestly haven't touched anything much lately for a while (apparently if I step away for even a couple days, I feel no need to come back for a long time).

Last thing I touched was FFXV. While not the return to the glory of the FFVII like promised, it's still a huge step up from what Square was doing recently. Characters are all memorable as is to be expected. Gameplay is...somewhat simplistic yet still pretty fun. Music beautiful as ever, but doesn't play nearly enough. Atmosphere is to FUCKING DIE FOR. Unbelievable how engrossing that is.

He actually could have reflected the thing's beams with the Hylian shield or a guardian's shield. hehe

The same way some watch 10 animes at once, I guess? I don't play them at once, I actually switch between them. And 5 of those I play mostly only when a certain friend is with me.

FF15 was great. Are you hype for the FF7 remake? FF7 is my favorite FF or second favorite.

humorously, that happened to me during a boss fight in remastered. I was fighting raven the second time and I Fell through one of the pillars on the way down, but I hit a platform and couldn't get out of it.

Even that seems too much. Like a few will just get inevitably dropped along the way for a long time. Especially if one of them is particularly long.

HELLZ yes, I am. Final Fantasy VII Disc 1 is as far as I'm concerned the greatest game of all time by a massive margin. Sounds weird, just that it DOES lose a little steam after a while. So what's number 2? I'm such a whore for Square, I actually like the multiple release format just because it means no detail is getting ignored. Also on a sidenote, I first played it in 2007, so already fairly dated even then. And yet somehow, the little blockmen characters were never any issue. Unlike some *OoT*her games.

You know what? I agree. But there's just too many great games coming out at the same time.

What do you mean, Disc 1? The whole game, dude! I mean, not the greatest game of all time, but come on. You can't just say disc 1.

I actually like the multiple release format just because it means no detail is getting ignored.
And apparently they want to add stuff. Which is also nice.

1998. I was 7.

Graphics never were a big issue for me. OoT is a really great game by the way. :P
